This session will explore principal quality and its effect on student performance. In particular, the papers presented will examine different methodologies of estimating principal effectiveness, will estimate how principal quality correlates with school quality, and will relate how principal quality relates to school policies. Overall, this session will present state of the art empirical knowledge on school leadership.
