This panel will convene an interdisciplinary group of scholars studying federalism in environmental governance in a variety of substantive and geographic domains. Substantive areas addressed are organic food regulation, watershed governance, forest management, and vehicle fuel economy and greenhouse gas regulation.Three of the papers address federalism in environmental governance in the United States and one addresses this topic in the contexts of Bolivia and Peru. Authors use a mix of methodological approaches in their research.
