This panel will examine the response and recovery periods following natural disasters. Different lenses can be used to examine the influence that natural disasters have on communities, government response, and volunteer organizations as they work to recover. This panel will examine three different natural disasters and analyze the effectiveness of the response efforts. This panel will also look at the long term effects of a natural disaster on the political environment.
