The means of transportation are changing considering the current technological improvements. Micromobility is one of the innovative transportation strategies that enables users to have short-term access to a mode of transportation on an as-needed basis. In this poster, I will explain what shared micromobility is and what its impacts are. I will also focus on the growth of shared micromobility and as well as the market potential including the examples on the use of micromobility. It is also very important to touch upon social, environmental, and behavioral impacts which can be attributable to micromobility. Although micromobility is changing our lives in different ways, there are also regulatory challenges such as safety, parking and curb space management. These regulatory challenges will be the sticking point for creating safer, healthier and more sustainable cities that people enjoy to live in.
