Description of Research: The results of this discussion have important implications for the evaluation of interventions that focus on a career trajectory, such as career pathways programs. Policymakers, practitioners, and researchers alike will want to know if such programs work as intended, by moving participants onto the intended trajectory, or if the programs work via some other unintended mechanism. As such, appropriate measurement of career progress is essential, both for programs that are beginning to construct logic models and for evaluations of existing programs.
