This roundtable brings together representatives of some of the top funding and grant-awarding institutions from across the globe as well as advisors who work on helping researchers and institutions to craft successful funding applications, to discuss best practices for securing funding for policy and society-relevant research and work. Topics of discussion will include how funding institutions set their strategic agendas, how to pitch a successful proposal, "dos and don'ts" for applicants, and what "impact" and "policy relevance" means for such institutions.
