Roundtable participants will discuss the future of GHG mitigation efforts in the United States, including questions such as: Who will the new climate leaders in the US be? What policy tools will they be able to leverage as they work towards climate protection? How large an impact can they have? And what factors will shape their probability of success? Panelists will also assess the impact that policy actions in the US will have on international efforts to minimize global climate change and consider what it will take for climate policy research to have a meaningful impact in our polarized political environment.
