This is a joint panel sponsored by the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) and the Korean Association for Policy Studies (KAPS).

The KAPS is a leading scholarly association for policy studies in Korea, and it holds four regular conferences and publishes Korean Journal of Policy Studies (in Korean) and International Journal of Policy Studies (in English)

The panel is designed for Korean policy scholars to share their research on policies issues in Korea and/or the U.S. with members of APPAM in order to better understand one another.

Furthermore, the APPAM-KAPS panel will play a bridge role to promote international co-works between Korean policy scholars and the APPAM member scholars. 

In so doing, mutual understanding on policy issues between Korean scholars and the APPAM member scholars.
