The proposed affinity group is for professionals and aspiring professionals focused specifically on research and evaluation. Our affinity group will provide a forum for this diverse group to meet at APPAM, network, and discuss various options for developing a career in the field.
This affinity group also offers job market candidates and soon-to-be job market candidates with the opportunity to learn about our industry; what their career might look like; and how it differs from and is similar to academia.
Our group organizers bring three varied perspectives to the discussion: an early career consultant, a mid-career consultant and former academic, and a distinguished scholar with stints in consulting, government, foundations and academia.
