Pre-Conference Training for New Professionals: Impact Policy With Your Research
Join us the day before the Fall Conference for a interactive session to help you learn how to impact the formation and implementation of policy with your research. Panelist/session leaders will explore ways to make research impactful for stakeholders, succinct so it is usable for busy people and actionable so results are possible.
The session will explore ways to connect your research with policymaker communities through communications, relationship building and other important tools that will help your research get utilized for policymaking.
The education portion of the event will take place from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, immediately followed by a happy hour from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm in Tower Court D (I.M. Pei Tower Building - 2nd Floor).
